My Leadership Journey
I started my career as a fighter pilot in the Royal Air Force, where I was trained in a leadership system that had been perfected over 200 years to thrive in the most demanding environments. The focus wasn’t on control but on empowering teams to solve problems, execute with precision, and perform under pressure.
When I retired in 2013, I transitioned into consulting and corporate leadership, leading teams ranging from 10 to 10,000 across industries. What I discovered is that the same leadership principles I had been trained in worked just as effectively in the boardroom as they did in the skies.
Over the last decade, I’ve refined this approach, building a leadership system that grows organically and holistically - what I call The Wingman Way. It’s designed to unlock the hidden power of teams and deliver results you never thought possible.
